I have had occasion to work with mentally and physically differently able children and young adults for 6 years. Part of my job was to wake up, shower, prepare and serve meals as well as read to, play games with and provide music classes. I have also been a companion, less planned interaction. My life philosophy is "do unto others as I would have them do unto you..." My belief is that, respect is key.
