I have a lot of experience with special needs children. For a year, I used to tutor the special needs class every day at the local middle school. I also spent a summer volunteering with a special needs preschool camp a few years ago, and I really enjoyed it. In addition, I baby-sat a 9-year-old autistic boy every day after school when I was a high school sophomore. When I baby-sat the autistic boy, he couldn't speak and didn't know English. He had made up his own sign language and words, so I learned that so that I could communicate with him. I'm willing to learn special skills for other children too.
