Hi there!
My name is Nicole and I am near 21 years old. I currently attend Rochester Institute of Technology. I am a double major in Child and Adolescent Psychology and Criminology with a minor in Social Work. I have a long background in child care, and plan to work in schools during my life for those challenged or at risk youth, or for those deaf, who need an advocate. I have received many honorable and trusting scholarships for school totaling $100K. These are merit scholarships and leading the way first generation scholarships. Many people tell me I am reliable, pour my heart into things I care about and cherish, and am excellent with kids.
I have a large family, and am one of 6 kids. We range from 21 years old down to 5 years old with a range of ability and disability. I have held many responsibilities with them. I know safe and effective means of discipline including how to conduct a time out or a distract and re-direct methods, am not afraid to be in charge, and have a good handle on effective care of a child. I am very hands on and do not like to sit around. I will get down to a kids level and play on the floor, in the dirt and share a good laugh.
