I am a well-educated (11 years full-time education) and young at heart 38-year-old woman who loves children. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents with behavioral issues or youth who are incredibly bright and not meeting their potential in the classroom setting. I have had a lot of classroom and work experience dealing with behavioral issues and consider this my specific area of expertise. I have worked with many populations including individuals who were considered to be fire setters, sex offenders, substance abusers, to have developmental delays, eating disorders, numerous medical conditions, and psychiatric diagnoses. In graduate school I did differential diagnoses for ADHD, parent training, and training for teachers on dealing with specific behavioral issues in the classroom. I am incredibly energetic and enjoy working with youth from diverse cultural backgrounds. I see all youth as my future as well as everyone else they come into contact with in their lives.
