Taking care of an elderly woman can be a difficult task if you are not mentally there to understand what their needs are that need to be met. You must love your job and care about human life. Be compassionate, loving, watch over them, like you would your own child to make sure they are comfortable and have what they need or just to keep them company and talk about their life or your life. You must go to unfamiliar with the physical and emotional needs of that senior. A senior who has lost her partner will need more attention, and if illness is also a concern, caring for her will require more than just time and dedication.
