I'm a very caring and patient person. I love caring for others. I cared for a lady for a year in her 90s.
I assisted her with her personal needs along with meal preparation, housekeeping and administering her insulin. I cared for my mother and father for a year, up until last May 2012. I am still caring for my father. He is also a diabetic, so I administer his insulin to him, too. My mother is the real reason why I wanted to become a Senior Care Provider. I have always had the passion but never pursued it.
I obtained my CNA license in May, 2012. I handle emergencies well and I have taken a CPR class and obtained my CPR certificate about 3 years ago, but it has expired. My value is to care for others as I would want my parents, children, family or myself to be cared for. I have cared for residents in their homes, hospital, and a rehab. facility. I have experience with very ill residents, recuperating residents, Dementia residents, and to just being a companion.
