When I was in grade school and middle school I signed up for Peer Buddy's. Peer Buddy's is where you help the special needs children read or do a activity with them. I enjoyed that very much it was fun to help out the children and see there accomplishments. Also I would go over to a kid from school's house and read to him because his whole body and speech had become paralyzed over night. For about 5 years now I've been babysitting for a family of two. The little girl has special needs out of the family of two. Although the mother doesn't tell me what she has she is slower at doing basic things and has needed some extra help while babysitting. Basically I love to help out people and I have a lot of patience so I feel I'd be a good fit to help out children with special needs.
