I worked at for a non-profit organization which supports people with developmental disabilities, for 2 1/2 years. I looked after 13 special needs individuals that lived in the home. I do personal care, laundry, cook, light housekeeping. I am older, have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren. I worked in a daycare for 4+ years where I was a lead teacher in the infant room. I then moved into the 2-year-old room for a year or so. I have references from moms whose babies I had at the daycare and then went on to care for them in their homes. I was recently a nanny for a little girl, starting when she was 6 days old. I have an AA degree, I received my Bachelors degree in Human Services, Family and Child Welfare, (on-line). I am starting school in Jan. to get my Masters in Psychology. I have no problem doing some laundry and picking up the house, as long as the kids are safe and happy at the time I do it. I love kids and really want to take care of children again.
