I have worked with children with physical disabilities for over 20 years in a recreational setting. I have worked with children ages 2-18 as well as young adults ages 18-25 with physical disabilities. I have worked as a program director, outreach coordinator, and van driver. I am competent providing for the child's personal needs, adapting activities so they can achieve independence as well as success, and am very familiar with any equipment they might use. I am trained in ASL and have taught beginning ASL to students at the high school level. I have 5 years teaching experience as well in science and math. I am looking for part-time care in my own home. I have 3 children of my own.
