During the summer of 2008, I worked at Bradford Woods Summer Camp for children with mental and physical disabilities. In my position, I maintained the physical and emotional well being of the campers along with mentoring the cabin staff. I worked alongside the medical staff and camp administration to provide the best experience possible for each camper through adaptive play and therapeutic recreation. This opportunity proved to me that every child has the potential to succeed, no matter of his/her personal challenges.
