Hello, my name is Krista and I am a 41 year old woman who resides in Mount Laurel. I am college educated and have over 8 years of experience working in the social service field. Populations I worked with include: adults and teenagers with developmental disorders; children ages 5-19 with learning disabilities which included autism and ADHD; youth and adults who were mentally ill with chemical addictions. My work included one on one counseling; assistance with ADL skill development, showering, meals, changing diapers, teeth brushing etc.; administering medication; case management.

I am an extremely caring, patient, creative, and reliable caregiver. I have a pleasant personality so I get along with others easily and vice versa. I enjoyed working in the social services field, but due to a relative becoming ill a few years ago and needing full time care, I made the decision to leave full time employment. I currently work with an 8 year old autistic girl a few days a month while taking care of my relative. As time passed, full time care was no longer needed and I am available and interested in continuing being a service provider. My future goals are to continue my education part time in becoming certified in working with children who are autistic.
