I am a senior psychology major and art minor at IC. I am extremely interested in working with children with disabilities, especially using art materials with them. I have never directly cared for a child with a disability, but I worked on the Yale Child Psychiatric Unit in the summer of 2011 with many children affected by developmental delays including: autism spectrum disorders, mental retardation due to various reasons, learning disabilities, etc. I am extremely passionate about helping children and I have a great deal of knowledge that allows me to succeed in that.
