Hello! My name is Keri. I am 19 years old and am a sophomore at James Madison University. I am a Social Work major double minoring in Humanitarian Affairs and Special Education. I have held special interest in caring for children with special needs since I volunteered often with such children throughout high school. My mother worked as a Special Education aide and I often volunteered in her classroom, as well. This past summer I worked through Public Partnership as an attendant for a 4-year-old by with Aspergers syndrome. I work throughout the school year as a Peer Access Advisor for JMU's Office of Disability Services and plan on pursuing a career of advocating for people with special needs.
