I am passionate about working with children with special needs: I began my experience at a therapy program for children with autism and other behavioral needs. I worked regularly at this therapy practice for 3 years, assisting in and facilitating social skills groups, music therapy, and play therapy.
I am currently studying psychology at West Chester University of Pennsylvania; my course work includes a class focused entirely on autism diagnosis and treatment. In addition, for the past year I have been involved volunteering at SPARC, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Autism Resource Center, where I help to run social skills groups, take behavioral data, and write reports.
Most importantly, I love working with children with special needs and am passionate about using my knowledge and skills to help families!
