My experience caring for people with special needs was very meaningful. It taught me a lot in many different ways. I now see how many of us take certain things for granted because before my experience working with people with special needs, I too can say that I have taken advantage of the fact in some ways, that I can care for myself without the help of others. This is one of the reasons that after my experience with helping people with special needs, I am very passionate about helping and caring for them the best that I can.
