Katie Z. - Portland Special Needs Caregiver

Profile of Katie Z.

Full-Time, 2 Years of Experience

I am a para-educator currently working Monday-Friday in a kindergarten/first grade autism classroom at an elementary school in North Poland. Our school year ends July 6th. I have been assistant teaching general education and special needs students for the last two years, but I've been working with children in other capacities for six years.

I absolutely love my job, and my passion for working with special needs students is what drives me to constantly challenge and educate myself to better assist the children I work with.

I'm going to school to be a special education teacher, specializing in autism.

I hope to hear from you, and I'll be happy to address any questions you may have regarding experience and references.

I don't have a car, but I have a driver's license and spotless driving record. I can get almost anywhere by bus/Max, and I can also get a ride if needed!
Related Hobbies and Interests
Art and music therapy, outdoor and indoor activities to refine motor skills. I have fun with everything, so let me know what your child enjoys!
