Hi, my name is Kathy. I was a caregiver for 14 years to my mom who had Parkinson's disease (she passed away in January). During the last few years, I bathe, fed, clothed, took her to all doctors appointments (speech, physical therapy, massage etc.) entertained, took her on walks, picnics, field trips to apple orchards, museums. I am very hands on. I have been caring for a 37-year-old deaf woman with Cerebral Palsy and traumatic brain injury for the past few months. it's challenging yet rewarding. I am a mother and I have a 29-year-old son and a 24-year-old daughter. I was born and raised in Arlington and know the area well. I have lots of energy, very easy going, like to make things fun, great sense of humor and tons of patience. Most of all, I have lots of love and tenderness to give and truly believe people of all ages (young or old) should be treated with TLC and respect.
