My primary job was to prepare my consumers for work or school during my shift. I prepared their meals, passed medicines, assisted with baths, and dressed them. My responsibility was to protect them from hurting themselves. I assisted with daily living chores, and daily programming, and outings in the community. I build up a great rapport with my consumers. I love working in this field to see the smiles on their faces when they see someone cares. As recently in March of 2010, I cared for sick mother until her passing in 2011. I had Hospice nursing to assist me with her care.
