I have worked/cared for a boy who had autism, a speech delay, and ADHD. I was always very patient and understanding with him and that really helped him to listen and follow rules. I have also worked with my aunt who is a special ed. teacher specializing in autism children. I have worked with her in a school setting with multiple children. When I was in high school, I also worked one on one as an aid with autism students in both the high school and elementary school. I really enjoy working with autism children. They have such a special personality and are wonderful people to be around and help.
