In high school I was a teacher assistant in the special education classrooms for two years where I helped students prepare for life skills after school. I also helped them with their homework. The past two summers I have worked at Wisconsin Badger Camp which is a camp for people who have disabilities where I hang out with and show people who have a disabilities what their talents really are. I show then that they are equally and should be able to express how they feel in activities. I then worked for WEAP which is Wisconsin Early Autism Project where I would help little kids who have autism with everyday life skills and catching them up in school. I currently work for Abilities, Inc at a group home for people who have disabilities doing everything from just hanging out to doing personal cards.
