I began working with children with special needs my junior year of high school with the life skills department. For my senior year I was a teachers aide and helped the children do their school work, develop their social skills, and participate in group activities. I am passionate about what I do because I truly did love working and forming friendships with the young adults in my high school. I believe I learn so much from them and they have filled my life with happiness. I am currently going to school to become a special ed teacher so all the experience is very helpful.
