I made a decision to shift my career into the healthcare industry because I wanted to make a difference by helping others. I now have over 10 years of experience working with families, many have children in need of specialized or focused assistance. As a personal assistant to a stay at home mom and her 1-year-old son with autism to now being a mentor, working with teens/pre-teens that are facing very specific challenges. I'm known amongst colleagues, peers and clients as someone that is heartfelt, and empathetic, dependable, extremely attentive and tenacious. Additionally, I have 2 years experience in post-op care including monitoring of medications, grocery shopping, meal planning etc. all specific to you and your physicians dietary guidelines.
