When I was in high school, I volunteered at Laradan Hall for three and a half years because that is the school that my brother goes to and he has made it a joy to work with developmentally disabled people. I basically raised my brother who has been diagnosed with epilepsy, autism, grand mall seizures, combative seizures, low muscle tone and a detachment disorder. Because of him, it has opened my eyes and made a new passion for me. I will also be attending school this fall at Front Range Community College to be able to have a certificate to work for people with disabilities.
