I worked at a day care center for a year and a half, during which time, I became a kind of handler and friend to a child with Autism. Working with him made me realize that I would love working with other children with special needs. I am currently teaching myself American Sign Language, which I can in turn teach any baby or child if need be.
However, children with special needs are not the only children I can care for! There is not a single child that I meet who I do not care about. I also love to teach! I understand a children's thought process at different stages in their development, and if you would like for me to come up with a lesson plan for your child (children), I would be more than happy to.
