“ I chose a special education career path because I grew up with an uncle with down syndrome. I attended Kutztown University and graduated in May 2010 with a bachelors in special education. I have student taught in special education classrooms and also was an aide in a preschool special education program. I am currently working at the capital area intermediate unit as a paraprofessional in the preschool program.
