Special needs care is really my specialty! I've been a nanny for five years, three years through an agency where nearly every family I've worked for had a child with some variation of special needs. I've worked very extensively with autism, bipolar, ADD and ADHD and various other needs such as learning disabilities, etc. as well as medical needs such as feeding tubes, nebulizers, oxygen tanks, etc. I've taken care of all age groups - from infants on feeding tubes and oxygen to a child with a severe eating disorder and OCD to a teenager with severe bipolar and depression (as well as his three other special needs siblings at the same time). I'm studying Child Psychology in college and it's really a passion of mine. I love kiddos, and the reward is that much better when they're even more special.
