While I was in college I tutored students with ADHD and learning disabilities. The past three years I was an art teacher in FCPS and I taught every student in the school population, including students with emotional disabilities, learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD, histories of abuse, etc. My brother has sensory processing disorder and mild Autism, and, as a sister 15 years older, I have a lot of experience caring for him as well. I am currently in the Graduate Art Therapy program at GWU, and am interning part-time in Georgetown Hospital's pediatric oncology department doing art therapy with children with cancer or blood disorders. I am extremely caring, patient, and empathetic.
