I have just completed over a year of child care for a family with three energetic boys, ages 9, 4, and 3. Two of the boys are attending public schools, in multiple disabilities third grade and preschool classrooms. Although not classified as autistic, the oldest son does have a few characteristics. Their mother is a special education teacher in another school district, and she is extremely attentive to their needs. Each of the boys had speech issues, and two had severe food allergies, in addition to ADHD. I have become very close to the family and the children. I consider myself to be very caring, patient, and understanding of children with special needs, and would be interested in speaking to you in regard to your available position.
