I have experience working with the elderly at an assisted living center for a year and half. I have also worked in a group home setting with adults with special needs at two different locations for eight months combined. I am working part-time now but willing for the right position and location to dedicate my time as a care giver full-time if needed. I'd much rather be using my experience in the health care industry than in retail. I enjoy this type of work knowing I am helping someone. It makes me feel that I am doing something worthwhile and meaningful.
