Hello! I am an energetic, responsible and trustworthy person looking to gain new experiences a few hours a week. For 5 years (and presently), I have worked full-time as a Therapeutic Recreation Manager at a Special Recreation Association (SRA). My responsibilities at the SRA are: overseeing another full -time staff member, oversee the summer day camp programs, supervise part-time staff, lead programs and much more. While leading programs, I oversee up to 20 participants at a time and I ensure their safety, plan the program content, implement the program and oversee part time staff. Prior to working at the SRA I was a lifeguard around central Illinois. I became a Lifeguard Instructor about 9 years ago and still teach individuals to become lifeguards. I love working with people and teaching them new things and having them teach me. I am lucky because my schedule can be flexible (if I know in advance) and it also can change up to four times a year (because of my program load at the SRA). If I were to find a placement which required consistency, I would do my best to allow my schedule to do so.
