I have more than 10 years of experience, working with individuals with disabilities, including the severe and profound, to higher functioning. I am looking for full or part time work and prefer days. I also prefer providing one on one, care. I have provided all areas of direct care, providing assistance with medication, feeding and personal needs. I have worked in group homes, day programs and private care. My first experience was in a high school classroom setting, in 1991. Here, I realized how passionate I was about this special population. Working with individuals with disabilities provides me with a strong sense of satisfaction. I have two children, ages 25 and 26, two granddaughters, ages seven months and three years. I am a dog lover, there are four in my household, two being Greyhounds. I adopt retired racing Greyhounds.
