Due to an injury my mom had to stop working full time in a classroom but she continued to work as a consultant for school districts. She has set up multiple reach programs and has started her own company called Zone in for autism dedicated to bettering the education of special needs children....

My mother was in special ed for over two decades before I was born and when I was born I became the "reach classroom baby". Due to an injury my mom had to stop working full time in a classroom but she continued to work as a consultant for school districts. She has set up multiple reach programs and has started her own company called Zone in for autism dedicated to bettering the education of special needs children. I was there to help set up every classroom I was there to help her start her business and I am passionate about everyone having equal learning opportunities disabilities or not. I have a lot of experience with people with special needs and have learned to be patient and caring. I have three years of volunteer experience. I hope one day I can look back and say that I have done even half of what my mom has done for people.
