I also volunteered at a preschool during my whole senior year and about 5 kids in my class had several different kinds of disabilities and the teacher was very impressed by my attention and love for the children.
I babysat a 6-year-old boy who had autism who was just a joy to be around. I had researched it pretty well before I started the job, but I became really close to him, and started having a huge passion for other children in his situation.
I would love to be able to help, I know it must get pretty challenging for parents with a child who has a disability. I am always ready to love and care for a child, and that is no different when it come to a child with a disability.
