I've only transported physically challenged kids to and from school on the bus, but I've found that interacting with them can be delightful! Decades ago I worked briefly in a group home for adults with special needs, (then life changed dramatically and I had to quit) so I understand the personal care some people need. People are people no matter what age and it's all good. I help wherever I'm needed; as with my grandma when she was dealing with cancer. You just do what needs to be done at the moment-plain and simple. Dignity and compassion are two important aspects of this kind of care, nothing less than I'd want for myself!
