I have worked with students with neurological disorders such as, cerebral palsy, schizophrenia, manic depression, autism, brain injury, Down syndrome, coupled with behavioral issues, visual, auditory, physical and health issues. Created sensory-integrated program for students who were more physically & mentally challenged. Designed age- appropriate instructional material for all subjects. Collaborated with PT, OT, speech therapists, psychologist, and others on multidisciplinary team. I am a passionate teacher. I feel it is imperative to treat my students with total dignity. I want to make sure there is a secure and nurturing learning environment that takes place.
