Hello! My name is Dawn, and I'm a 35-year-old mama and speech-language pathology student. I'm looking for a great family to work with this summer between June and August or September, and possibly longer. I love kids, period. But my passion for children with learning and speech disorders spurs my education. I have many years experience working with children from infants to elementary ages and have taught at 2 prestigious preschools and have worked as a shadow and aide. My experience with children who have special needs is in the areas of autism, cerebral palsy and Asperger's syndrome.

I would be happiest to work with a family that has at least one of their children in speech therapy. I can volunteer (and I do mean gratis) some of my weekly time to supporting the services your child is receiving from their pathologist. I should note, this service would only be effective under the guidance of your SLP.
