I was a camp counselor a camp in 1994. I was 14 years old, had 12 children in my group (ages 6 to 12 years old). It was a joy to be known as "Super Dave." I helped the boys if they needed my help get dressed for swimming and watched over them during swim time.
In high school, I cared for special needs children until graduation my senior year. I assisted them in eating, changing, and expressing themselves....

In high school, I cared for special needs children until graduation my senior year. I assisted them in eating, changing, and expressing themselves. It was awesome. I miss them too.
In 2003, my father had cancer and I dropped out of college to care for him (major was pharmacy). My mother (family nurse practitioner) and I (pharmacy technician) worked as he got better. Six months later, he had a heart attack and quadruple bypass surgery and cared for him until he was well and returned to work.
I am very caring, I have patience, confidence, and the understanding that every day is a new day.
