I strated with special needs when I was 12. I started with a child with cerebral palsy and autism. When I was 19 I helped at a preschool with special needs children and worked with children with Down syndrome, and types of autism, and children that wer hearing impaired and blind. When I was 20 I was a live-in nanny with three children who had attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). I have loved every minute of it. They have taught me so much, especially patience.
