I have spent one year living and teaching in South Korea, with children and adults of various ages and abilities. I am able to provide excellent character references for this time. Currently, I am a personal assistant to a special needs young man part time. He has a mitochondrial disease, so my time spent with him requires me to always be diligent and patient, careful and also productive. In my younger years I was also a babysitter for infants and children. I am CPR certified for all ages, and am willing to take additional first aid classes. I am prompt, punctual and professional in all aspects of my life. I enjoy this kind of work, as I feel it provides satisfaction in helping those who need help. I have found that special needs individuals are usually the part of their families that bring the family members closer to each other.
