My name is Cristina and I am 26 years old. I have a brother who is 24 years old and has autism. Next to my parents, I spend the most time with him, even now. Because he was involved in many activities with other special needs children, I have worked with children on many levels of the spectrum.
Also, for 2 years I worked as an aide in a behaviorally challenged classroom. I left that job because I was able to get a job working as a teacher, not an aide, in another school. I also worked as a 1 on 1 at a summer camp for a child with MS.
I am very comfortable with special needs children and if I work with your child, I will do my best to take care of them that same I would my brother or any of the other children I have worked with.
