I first starting working with children with special needs three years ago at the Emory Autism Center. After working there for a year, I knew that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I then worked at the Heart of Hope Academy, a school for children with special needs, where I was an assistant teacher and ran the after school program. Currently, I am working with a young boy with ADHD while attending classes at Georgia State. I received my bachelors in psychology at Emory University and I am now working towards my masters in special education, specializing in autism.

Absolutely, I always try to learn as much as possible since I will be teaching children with all different diagnoses. I want to learn as much as I can before I start teaching children with special needs.
