Hello, my name is Clarissa. I am 18. I just graduated from Livonia Franklin. I was assigned two special education classes (early literacy and science) and I volunteered to take on two additional special education classes (senior portfolios and literacy). In elementary school at Mckinley, I worked with the AI program, giving up my lunch and recess to work with the children. I have a great amount of patience with special ed children and I've been told that I have a gift with them, whether it is finding my special way to get them to cooperate, calm them down or make them happy. I go to Schoolcraft and later will transfer to Eastern Michigan for a teaching degree for either early childhood development or Wayne State for special education. Getting paid isn't one of my expectations or intentions.
