I am a Special Education Teacher who has recently relocated from a high needs school in Phoenix, Arizona. I have worked with multiple cases including mild mental retardation, physical impairments, terminal illnesses, and Autism. I am now certified in CA and AZ as an Education Specialist, Cross Categorical SPED Teacher, and Multiple Subject Education Teacher. I am obtaining my reading specialist credential as well. I am currently seeking to veer away from the school setting somewhat and more towards personal home tutoring and assisting care and instruction for children both with and without special needs. I myself was a student with learning disabilities and as such, I truly do have a love for what I do, and enjoy making every experience these children have be one that is filled with learning and interest. I hope to completely instill in them the love for learning which I myself found. Currently I am only available in late evenings on certain evenings due to prior commitments.
