I am a single mother with a special needs child also, and it is definitely tough to find someone who understands our children's needs. My little one just turned 5 on June 1st of this year. He is an amazing little guy who is really only developmentally about 6-9 months old, and who also has other disabilities.
I would love to be able to help with your needs; (I have been helping another little autistic boy since last summer and have been working on sign language with him throughout the time I am around to help care for him, My schedule with him is pretty flexible, so depending on what your needs are.. I would love to help if I can)
I do have many years of experience being around children and adults with special needs. Growing up through out my life having friends for special needs whether, they have autism, mental retardation, cerebral palsy, or other disabilities like my own son, has made me a better person and helped me to understand and have a heart for children and adults with special needs.
