Over the past few years, I have been a nanny to three children, the oldest being diagnosed with Autism. In addition to being his full-time nanny, I was also his full-time aid at his specialized school. While assisting him with his tasks at school, I also assisted the other children in the classroom as well and eventually my position got turned into a full-time Teacher's Para for the classroom. There were many special needs children in the classroom ranging from Downs, Aspergers, Autism, ADD, ADHD, and visually and hearing impaired.
Due to relocation, I had to leave the school, however I still stay in touch with the families of many of the students that I worked with and love to see their progress and to still be able to have that special part in their life.
I have a huge heart to give to everyone and anyone, however, I feel that my heart got to be so big because of all of the unconditional love that these children gave to me.
