I recently became a CNA in October 2011 and it's the one of the best things I've done with my life! I started working with geriatrics in November and special needs patients in December of 2011. I currently work for The Lorelton Assisted Living and The Mary Campbell Center and I love it! I am extremely passionate about my job partially because I am a people person and a natural nurturer, but also because of the satisfaction that I feel just knowing that I make a difference in some one's life. I've been blessed over and over and I love to be able to give back and bless someone else. The greatest thing about my job, aside from the feeling of self worth, is the bond that develops between the patient/resident and me. I enjoy caring for the elderly as well as the young and spending time with them. Although I like the bonding and companionship that comes along with the job, I do take my job seriously and realize that professionalism is an important part of my title. I am very understanding, respectful, tolerant, open minded, and good natured. I am eager and willing to learn new things as well as meet and care for new people.
