Over the past 20 years, an active life style has equipped me to engage in a wide range of activities with men and women having disabilities. A few summer vacations at Easter Seals camps gave me some of the most profoundly rewarding experiences a man could expect in his lifetime.
A Christian lifestyle, coupled to a Yankee work ethic has paved my way since childhood; teaching me important lessons about the values in our world. The meal prep, cooking, skiing, teaching, oil changing and screw tightening skills learned over time all proved necessary tools when managing the unique challenges for supporting the disabled person. I carry a grateful attitude into each day, and make the effort to share my joy with everyone along the way.
