I have over 9 years of experience working with special needs individuals. I have worked as a special needs counselor, a one-to-one camp counselor, a direct care worker, and a behavior specialist. I have had experience working with children with autism/autism spectrum disorders, behavioral problems, down syndrome, and a variety of other diagnoses. I graduated in May 2010 with a Bachelors in Applied Psychology and will be beginning my Masters in Social Work in September at Boston University. My focus will be on clinical social work with an emphasis on mental health and children & adolescents. In addition to years of experience with special needs populations and a strong education, I have 10 years of experience babysitting/nannying, as well as working at summer camps.
