I am currently working with the Disability Services department at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. I have worked for them throughout the semester and I will be finished in May. I proctor students with disabilities while they take exams or do class activities. I make sure the environment in which they are in is comfortable, and I assist them with any specific needs that they might need. I am a soon to be graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead with a Bachelor's in Biology, and I would like to continue my career in nursing, specifically geriatrics. I am very passionate about caring for others because I feel that one of the best things in life is helping those who cannot help themselves. I am more passionate on how I do things then rather what I do. I think that everyday in this health field is a wonderful learning experience, and helping others pursue their goals and dreams is a goal of mine. I am looking forward to gaining experience in this field of care and I would consider myself a very kindhearted person, which makes me a great candidate for a position in this field.
