My name is Brenda and I currently reside in Carmel 's Arts & Design district. I am interested in filling a nanny position for children with special needs. I am a non-smoker, caring, and reliable person, who would love to take care of those with special needs. I really enjoy children, as I have two wonderful daughters and two grandchildren of my own, which I watch very often. I believe that I could be a great asset to a family with a child of special needs because I am patient, responsible, and nurturing: with past experiences providing for both the special care for an individual and as a Nursing Assistant to infants at the KCH Hospital in Warsaw, IN. About two years ago, I lost my husband who suffered 9 years with ALS, during this time I was his sole caregiver, and quickly learned to adapt to his needs. I would be invigorated to have the opportunity to do the same for children. I am willing to research and learn more about the needs I would be providing, finding activities that would help children advance with his/her needs. I am available to start working as soon as possible and I am available most days of the week. I currently have not worked since the passing of my husband though I am always helping my two daughters with their little ones. I can also play the piano and would be willing to learn children's songs to enhance a child 's environment, engaging their senses with music. I hope to better the lives of children and would be invigorated to do so for those who may have special needs.
